Here is the latest National Weather Service forecast for Oakland for Wednesday night/Thursday. They finally are saying what I have been saying for 2 days, although I think the chances of snow are much higher than they are for rain.
Wednesday Night: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
