80 Degrees Today, Then it is all Downhill for Tuesday and Wednesday

Today should be quite a beautiful day with highs approaching or surpassing 80 degrees in some locations across northern New Jersey. Then it is all downhill starting late this afternoon. A cold front will approach with some showers and thunderstorms this evening, then, after the front passes and brings the cold air in, it will stall out and a storm will develop along the front to our south. Unfortunately, this storm will move very slowly, allowing rain to fall all day on Tuesday and much of the day on Wednesday as well, before finally moving past us on Wednesday night, after 1-2 inches of rain has fallen. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will only be in the 50’s throughout northern New Jersey. Thursday and Friday will be much nicer with highs in the 60’s, then it is downhill once again for the weekend as another slow moving storm approaches for Saturday and Sunday with rain and highs only in the 50’s again.
