Interesting Weather This Week
We will see some interesting weather today as it is quite warm this morning, but the cold front will come through late this morning with some showers and thunderstorms, and then temperatures will drop to the upper 30’s by late afternoon. Temperatures will be in the 50’s tomorrow, and then some rain will move in during the evening hours. Some areas in the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey will actually have the possibility of seeing some wet snow by Thursday morning, as the rain may mix with or change to wet snow in some higher locations, although the temperatures will be above freezing, so it probably would not accumulate. Temperatures will once again get into the 50’s on Thursday before dropping into the 30’s on Thursday night. Friday the temperatures should remain in the 40’s and rain should start some time during the day. Again, on Friday night, some areas in the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey may see some wet snow mix in with the rain, or even change over to wet snow during the night, although again ground temperatures will be warm, so it probably would not accumulate. Saturday will remain unsettled with some light rain and temperatures struggling to reach the 40’s with some locations in northwest New Jersey having highs only in the upper 30’s on Saturday. Sunday the weather will finally improve with highs in the 50’s. Next week should be much nicer with normal spring weather and highs in the 70’s.
