Detailed Look at the Next 10 Days
Many areas in Northern New Jersey may break 80 degrees today and tomorrow, and temperatures will be well into the 70’s on Tuesday as well. Then moisture will start approaching our area from the South on Wednesday, causing an increase in cloudiness prior to the rain starting late on Wednesday night or early on Thursday morning. The rain will become heavy at times starting early on Thursday morning and continue throughout the day. Showers will continue through the day on Friday before finally ending on Friday night. Total rainfall amounts should be in the 1-2 inch range, which could cause some local problems with flooding but should not be enough to cause major problems. After things clear out on Friday night, it will be sunny but a little cooler for next weekend.
