THURSDAY – rain, changing to snow in the evening with a dusting to an inch of accumulation possible in the lower elevations, 1-2 inches of snow possible in the hilly locations, and 2-3 inches possible in the higher terrain, prior to ending in the early morning hours on Friday, morning temperatures in the middle to upper 40’s, dropping to the lower to middle 40’s in the early afternoon, then to the upper 30’s to lower 40’s by evening, then to the middle to upper 30’s by around midnight, then to the lower to middle 30’s by morning

FRIDAY – sunny, low in the lower to middle 30’s, high in the middle to upper 40’s

SATURDAY – rain, sleet or snow in the morning, changing to snow in the afternoon or evening, then snow heavy at times overnight on Saturday, total accumulations of 3-6 inches in Eastern sections of Northern New Jersey and valley locations throughout Northern New Jersey, 6-12 inches in Central Sections of Northern New Jersey and in the hilly terrain, and 12-18 inches possible in Western Sections of Northern New Jersey and in the highest elevations, temperatures throughout the day in the lower to middle 30’s, except the middle to upper 30’s in the far Eastern Sections of Northern New Jersey

SUNDAY – snow ending in the morning, then sunny, low in the lower to middle 30’s, high in the lower to middle 40’s

MONDAY – sunny, low in the middle 20’s to lower 30’s, high in the middle to upper 40’s

NEXT TUESDAY – sunny, low in the lower to middle 30’s, high in the upper 40’s to lower 50’s
