Monday Morning's Weather Discussion

We will have one more day of outstanding weather today with highs once again approaching or exceeding 80 degrees in many locations in Northern New Jersey. Tomorrow we will have increasing cloudiness as moisture starts to approach our area from the South. There will be a chance of shower on Tuesday night, then rain on Wednesday that will be heavy at times through Wednesday night. Thursday there will be a chance of a shower as we will be between two storm systems. Then the next storm will move in from the West on Thursday night with a chance of rain, heavy at times until Friday morning. During the day on Friday, there will be a chance of a shower before clearing out on Friday night. Total rainfall amounts should be in the 1-2 inch range, which could cause some local flooding, but should not cause major problems. Next weekend should be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 60’s, although there will be a cool wind from the North. It will be warm early next week until a cold front approaches our area sometime between Monday night and Thursday next week. After that front passes next week, it will likely get much cooler, at least temporarily.
