Monday Morning's Weather Discussion

The showers will end this morning and things will clear up with a high in the middle 60’s. Tomorrow there will just be a slight chance of a shower as the next storm system approaches our area and a high again in the middle 60’s. As the storm reaches Northern New Jersey on Wednesday, there will be rain, heavy at times in the morning, continuing through the night on Wednesday and ending early Thursday morning. Total rainfall amounts should be near one inch, so flooding is not likely to be problem, although localized brief flash flooding is a possibility. The cold front will pass on Thursday morning, ending the rain but also bringing much cooler weather with highs generally in the middle to upper 50’s from Thursday through Tuesday of next week. The next chance of showers and thunderstorms will be next Wednesday as a cold front approaches our area from the West.
