Monday Morning's Weather Discussion
There will be some rain late this afternoon or evening, continuing into the night tonight, then tomorrow will be a nice day. Wednesday there will be rain as a cold front approaches our area and stalls out over our area, continuing the rain on Thursday. Thursday night the rain will likely change to snow and could accumulate to a dusting to an inch of accumulation in the valleys, 1-2 inches possible on the hills, and 2-3 inches possible in the higher elevations, mainly on grassy surfaces, except in the hills and higher elevations where it could accumulate on the roads as well. In addition, it may get below freezing in the higher elevations, causing some icy conditions for Friday morning’s commute. Then it will clear out on Friday, so Friday should be a nice day, but cold. Then on Saturday there is the possibility of a Nor’easter developing which would bring us the chance of more snow, on Saturday, with significant accumulations possible if this storm does indeed occur. Then another Nor’easter is possible on Tuesday. Stay tuned.
