Rain Will Move In On Wednesday Late Morning or Early Afternoon

I am posting an afternoon update to the 10 day forecast because it now appears that the rain will be moving into Northern New Jersey a little earlier than it appeared on the previous model runs. The rain will now most likely start in the late morning or early afternoon on Wednesday, becoming heavy at night and continuing into Thursday morning before becoming lighter and more scattered during the day on Thursday and continuing into Thursday night. Then on Friday morning, the rain will once again become heavy at times and continue through the day before ending on Friday night. Total rainfall amounts should be in the 1-2 inch range, which could possibly be enough to bring some localized flooding, but probably not enough to bring major problems with flooding. Of course, I will keep you updated.
