Tuesday Morning's Weather Discussion

Today we will have increasing cloudiness throughout Northern New Jersey. Rain will develop in the early morning hours tomorrow and may become heavy at times. The showers will end in the early morning hours on Thursday morning but will start up again late on Thursday afternoon and continue through the night on Thursday. The rain may be heavy at times on Friday morning prior to ending on Friday afternoon. Total rainfall amounts should be in the 1-2 inch range, which could cause some local problems with flooding, but should not cause major flooding problems. The weekend should be quite nice with temperatures in the 60’s. The next threat of showers will be on Monday with a cold front approaching from the West, and again on Wednesday as a storm approaches our area from the West. The storm on Wednesday could bring some significant rains to our region once again on Wednesday of next week, with much cooler air after its passage.
