Monday Morning's Weather Discussion
Today will be quite warm with highs well into the 60’s and approaching 70 degrees. Tomorrow there will be showers during the day and rain, heavy at times at night as a strong storm approaches our area from the south. Wednesday it will clear out and be cooler and Thursday through Sunday will be quite nice, but quite a bit cooler on Saturday as a cold front will pass through our area on Friday night. Next Monday there will be increasing cloudiness with a chance of a shower at night, as a cold front will be approaching our area. Next Tuesday there will be rain, heavy at times, just ahead of a strong cold front that will pass through our area late on Tuesday night, clearing things out and cooling things down for next Wednesday. Those of you hoping for snow, you will need to hope for a change in this weather pattern because the weather pattern that has set up for this season so far is one where chances for snow will be few and far between. Of course, that could change tomorrow, but for now, I see no chances for significant snow into the distant future. The years when we had an October snow typically resulted in a below normal snowfall for the following winter. We shall see if that holds true again.
