Some Interesting Possibilities Out Past 10 Days

A look out past 10 days presents us with some interesting weather possibilities just prior to Thanksgiving. The European model, which I now have access to out to 15 days, has now shown for 2 days in a row, the possibility of a Nor’easter in our area, with the possibility of significant snow, on either Tuesday the 22nd or Wednesday the 23rd, just prior to Thanksgiving. This is a long, long way out, and typically storms this far out DO NOT happen when they show up on the model, as too many things can go wrong in that amount of time, but I also said this 14 days prior to the last storm when I saw signs of it on the models. So, I am just throwing out the possibilities for entertainment purposes only at this point, as it likely won’t happen, but if by any chance it does, it looks very similar to the last storm in terms of intensity, precipitation, cold air, and placement of the storm center. Again, it probably won’t happen but I wanted you to know of the possibility just in case. Keep in mind that even if it does happen, the leaves will be gone from the trees, so the chances of power outages would be greatly reduced. I will of course keep you updated. Stay tuned.
