Thursday Morning's Weather Discussion

Today and tonight, there will be some showers as both a cold front and a storm from the Atlantic Ocean will approach our area. Tomorrow there will be a slight chance of a rain or snow shower as colder air will be in place behind the cold front and some lingering moisture will combine with some moisture from the Great Lakes. This weekend through Monday will be quite nice with temperatures warming a little each day. Tuesday there will be showers as another front approaches our area. Wednesday should be nicer after the front passes, and then Thursday a cold front with an associated storm system may approach our area bringing the chance of showers late in the day and rain at night. There is the chance that this storm could have cold air to work with depending on how it develops, so this situation will be watched closely. If the storm develops further to the east than the model is currently showing, it would bring a chance of snow instead of, or in addition to rain. On Friday, there will be a chance of a rain or snow shower as the moisture will linger behind the storm system after the cold air has moved in to our area, then next Saturday it should be sunny but cold.
