Monday Morning's Weather Discussion

Today through Wednesday will be quite nice, but cool, and then on Thursday there will be a chance of showers as a storm system approaches our area. Friday and Saturday should then be nice, but cool days. Saturday night and Sunday morning there is a slight chance of some light snow as a weak storm system will approach our area from the south, but may remain south of area which would spare us of any snow. Sunday afternoon and Monday should be nice, but cool. Next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as another storm system approaches our area. Right now, it looks like this storm would be rain, but the cold air will not be far too far to our north, so I put rain or snow in the forecast, just in case. Right now, my prior thoughts of a big storm early next week are looking less likely. It is looking like the two pieces of energy that would have produced that storm will remain separate, one piece being the slight chance of some light snow on Saturday night and Sunday morning, and the other piece being the chance of rain or snow, probably rain for Tuesday and Wednesday. We will just have to wait and see how all of this works out, but right now, the most likely scenario would be that the storm on Saturday night and Sunday morning misses us just to the south, and the storm on Tuesday and Wednesday is rain.
