Thursday Morning's Weather Discussion
Well, for those of you who were hoping for snow on the ground when you woke up this morning, I am truly very sorry. The storm simply moved much faster than any computer model showed, so by the time the cold air got here the storm was already leaving our area. For more detail on this, read my post from earlier this morning. Anyway, looking into the future, it will be cool but nice through Tuesday of next week, and this weekend will be quite cold with lows in the upper teens to lower 30’s and highs only in the 30’s. The next chance of any precipitation will be next Wednesday as a weak disturbance moves through our area and brings us a slight chance of a snow shower. Then on Thursday, there will be a chance of rain showers. Anyone hoping for even a chance of a decent snowstorm, the next chance will be next weekend. I have been watching for the potential of a major storm in our area for next weekend for a week already. It is much too early to say whether it would be rain or snow, but it does look like there is a decent chance of a big storm in our area next weekend. I will keep an eye on it for you.
