Thursday Morning's Weather Discussion

Yesterday was surprisingly nice as the rain remained just to our east most of the day, bringing Long Island significant rain, up to an inch a half, but leaving people further to the West dry most of the day.  My weather station recorded only a tenth of an inch of rain.  Things will dry out today but the unsettled weather will resume on Monday.  Today will be partly to mostly sunny, but it will be cool with a high around 60.  Tomorrow will be sunny and warmer, with a high in the middle to upper 60’s.  Saturday will be sunny and warm with a high in the middle to upper 70’s.  Sunday there will be just a slight chance of a shower and it will again be warm with a high in the middle to upper 70’s.  Monday and Tuesday there will be a chance of showers both days and the high will be in the middle to upper 60’s.  Wednesday should be sunny with a high in the middle to upper 70’s.  Thursday there will be just a slight chance of a shower with a high in the lower to middle 70’s.  Next Friday and Saturday will be sunny with highs in the 70’s.
