We will finally see some beautiful weather today with a high
around 80. Tomorrow a strong cold front
will approach our area, bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
morning and early afternoon, with clearing in the later afternoon. Temperatures will start our warm tomorrow
around 70 degrees, but will drop quite dramatically behind the front in the
afternoon, with temperatures dropping to the lower to middle 50’s in the evening. Sunday a low-pressure area will form along
the front just to our south and will ride along the front on Sunday, brining
rain, which could be heavy at times, and we will also be on the cold side of
the storm, so temperatures will remain cold all day, with temperatures probably
remaining in the middle to upper 40’s all day.
After this storm passes on Sunday night, the rest of the week should be
quite nice, with only a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon
or early evening on Wednesday.
Temperatures will however be quite cold all next week, with highs mostly
in the 50’s, except on Wednesday when highs will likely reach the middle to
upper 60’s just ahead of the next front.
Nighttime temperatures may be cold enough to bring the first frost to
the cold valleys on Monday morning, and especially on Tuesday morning, where
frost will be likely in some locations. Then we will have to watch for the following
weekend when the first widespread freeze is possible for our entire
region.
