Wednesday Morning's Weather Discussion - Slight Chance of First Snowflakes on Friday - First Widespread Frost/Freeze Likely on Saturday - Nor'easter With Flooding Rains Possible on Monday Night and Tuesday

We will see some quite unsettled weather through the next 10 days.  Today we will see some showers this morning, with some clearing this afternoon, followed by a beautiful but cool day tomorrow.  Friday we will see the coldest air of the season so far, as a strong cold front moves through in the morning.  This cold front will bring the chance of a rain shower in the morning and a rain or snow shower in the late morning or early afternoon as the colder air moves in at the upper levels and the high will only be in the lower 50’s.  Saturday morning will then feature sub-freezing temperatures in many locations throughout our area, as temperatures drop to the upper 20’s to lower 30’s in most locations.  The high on Saturday will again only be in the lower 50’s.  Sunday there will be a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by variably cloudy skies in the afternoon, and it will already be warmer with a high in the middle 60’s.  Then things will get interesting, as a Nor’easter is likely to form along the coast on Monday night and continue through Tuesday.  This Nor’easter will develop because of a disturbance that moves through area, combining with a tropical disturbance moving out of the Caribbean.  This storm may bring flooding rains to our area on Monday night and through the day on Tuesday, so stay tuned for further updates.  Things will then clear out for Wednesday, before clouds start to increase again on Thursday and showers move in again on Thursday night and Friday.
