Why This Storm Will be VERY Bad

This storm will actually be strengthening as it comes ashore.  Most hurricanes as they come north into our latitude start to fall apart because the ocean is colder here than it is in the lower latitudes and the hurricanes feed off the warm water.  The thing with this storm is that it is not technically going to be a hurricane, but a cross or a hybrid between a hurricane and a Nor'easter.  This has only happened once before in recorded history with the "Perfect Storm".  Click here to read about it.  But, and this is a big but, the "Perfect Storm" did not come ashore, it stayed out in the Atlantic Ocean, but still caused tremendous damage.  This one is actually going to come onshore!  This is the first time this has ever happened.  No one really knows what to expect.  There is much disbelief among meteorologists that this will even happen like some of the models are showing.  Usually hurricanes are weakening as they approach us, this storm, because it is actually a hybrid or a combination of a hurricane and a Nor'easter, will actually be strengthening as it approaches the coast.  This is a disaster of historical proportions in the making.
