Evening Run of the U.S. Navy Model
The evening run of the U.S. Navy model just came out and manages to produce about 6 inches of snow for all of Northern New Jersey on Tuesday and Tuesday night. The fact that the U.S. Navy model manages to produce 6 inches of snow for us is quite an accomplishment considering it usually can't produce much of anything. Honestly, when this model manages to do that, it raises some serious red flags and makes me wonder if the operational run of the European model is in error. I am not saying it is, but when the U.S. Navy model does this, it really does make me wonder. The U.S. Navy model is absolutely the worst of the 6 major medium range models, and it usually can't produce much of anything.
