Evening Update
I just did a detailed analysis of the evening model runs and I feel VERY confident in my forecast of a widespread 2-5 inches of snow across Northern New Jersey. The short range American and Canadian models both say that I might even be low with these forecast snowfall amounts, but I will leave it alone for now. The snow should start between 9-11am tomorrow morning and end in the early morning hours on Thursday. The winds will also be a problem as they will likely be sustained in the 20-25mph range with gusts as high as 40-50mph possible. The snow, combined with the wind is likely to result in power outages again as there are still many trees leaning on power lines and many of the power lines have just been patched together in order to get electricity back quickly to as many people as possible. Winds along the coast could gust as high as 60-70mph causing some coastal flooding as well, as the beaches are still in a weakened state.
