Evening Update
At this point I can honestly say that I have no idea what is going to happen next week. It seems that almost any possibility is on the table. It does seem to me though that something is likely to happen, and it definitely has the potential to be big, whatever it is. Both the American model this evening and the lower resolution European model miss us, just out to sea, with the storm next Monday and Tuesday, but that is definitely subject to change. It will be interesting to see how the regular run of the European model handles the storm when it comes out early in the morning. On it's last run it had a Nor'easter situated near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina that looked like it might merge with the polar vortex, producing a very significant storm for our area around next Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day, but we will just have to wait and see. The time period that we need to watch closely is between next Monday and Thursday. Stay tuned. Anything is possible, but my guess is that something big is going to happen.
