We will see some wonderful weather over the next 10 days and
temperatures will warm to the middle to upper 50’s for Thanksgiving Day and
Black Friday. It will cool off a bit for
next weekend as a cold front moves through our area, but will once again warm
ahead of the next cold front next Monday.
It is just after this 10-day period that things may once again get interesting,
as a very strong cold front is likely to move through our area on Tuesday,
bringing with it some showers, but then it will get quite cold behind this
front and there is a possibility that a storm may form and affect our
area. Any storm that forms after the
front moves through Next Tuesday will have the potential to be snow, as we will
be under the influence of the coldest weather so far this season. We will just have to wait and see how things
develop. On a side note, the bowling
team at Indian Hills High School in Oakland, NJ is doing a fundraiser for
Superstorm Sandy relief. I would
encourage everyone who reads this blog to consider donating $20 to Superstorm
Sandy relief, and with your donation, you will receive a “The Edge Weather”
T-shirt. Again, proceeds will be going
to Superstorm Sandy relief, and will benefit people who were affected by this
terrible storm. If you attend Indian
Hills High School or know someone who does, please see an Indian Hills bowler,
Mr. Michels, someone from the Technology Department, or Mr. Edgerton with your
donation of $20 cash, or check made payable to “Indian Hills High School”. Thank you.
