Well, for those of you who did not like my forecast of the
possible Nor’easter because it was messing up your travel plans, and wanted me
to change my forecast, you got your wish.
The potential Nor’easter I have been following for more than a week
simply is not going to happen. The two pieces
of energy that were going to come together to produce the storm are not going
to come together, so the storm is not going to form as expected and will remain
south and east of our area, then go out to sea.
This leaves us with wonderful weather over the next 10 days, with the
only chance of precipitation being a slight chance of a shower next
Friday. In fact, instead of ugly weather
for Thanksgiving, it will be beautiful with high temperatures in the middle 50’s! The next chance of a storm will be the
post-Thanksgiving storm that I have been talking about for a while now. That one is still showing up on the models and
looks as if it may very well have the potential to merge with some very cold
air dropping down from Canada, unlike this storm ever really had much potential
of doing. That storm is currently focused
around the Tuesday or Wednesday after Thanksgiving. Check back in for updates, but enjoy the
wonderful weather. We really needed a
break and I am happy to be giving you some good news for a change. Enjoy!
