There is still the possibility of a strong Nor’easter on
Tuesday night into Wednesday however; specific details are very difficult to
come by, as there are just too many variables that still need to be figured
out. My best guess right now, based off
the afternoon run of the European model is that we will get a touch of snow
early on Sunday morning, followed by some rain in the afternoon on Sunday. Then we have a chance of a little rain on
Monday, and then a strong storm is likely to develop on Tuesday and head in our
direction. The big question is whether
this will be rain or snow, and that is indeed a very difficult question to
answer. From what I am seeing, I believe
the storm may start as rain on Tuesday afternoon and evening and then change to
snow, continuing until Wednesday morning, and my guess is that there could be
significant accumulations and strong winds.
However, as I stated before, there are many questions that sill need be
resolved. Then after this storm passes,
there will be a chance of another storm that could give us some snow for Thursday
night. The next possible storm after
that right now appears to be on Saturday the 22nd. Check back for updates.
