A strong cold front will come through today, with
temperatures surging this morning then dropping this afternoon. Some showers will develop tonight, changing
to or mixing with snow late at night and possibly accumulating to a dusting to
an inch in some locations by early morning.
Then late on Tuesday night or early on Wednesday morning, around
midnight the next storm will move into our area, possibly briefly starting as
rain or sleet before changing to snow and sleet. This storm will end around 10am and the snow
and sleet may accumulate to around 2-4 inches before ending. Then Friday it looks like a storm may remain
safely south and east of us, but it will get much colder for the day on Friday. This weekend will warm up, prior to a very strong
cold front on Sunday night that will bring in frigid air for next week, then we
need to watch for the possibility of a Nor’easter for next Monday night and
Tuesday, along with extremely cold temperatures.
