We will see some very unsettled weather over the next 10
days. Today we will have a little snow
this morning, followed by some sleet later this morning, then some light
freezing rain this afternoon, then finally ending as some light rain this
evening. There will be a dusting of snow
this morning, followed by some ice accumulation late this morning and early
this afternoon. The temperatures may
rise above freezing in some areas as soon as early this afternoon, and in other
areas not until around 8pm tonight, so if driving today, please use extreme
caution. Tomorrow will be a much nicer
day, with only a slight chance of a shower and it will be much warmer, with a
high around 50. Wednesday will then be
quite warm, with a high around 60, as warm air surges north into our area ahead
of a cold front. A storm will also form
along this front, bringing rain to our area on Wednesday afternoon, becoming heavy
at times on Wednesday night, which is likely to cause some problems with
flooding. Then Thursday should be a nice day before a
weak storm moves through our area on Friday, bringing just a slight chance of a
snow shower. On Saturday, clouds will
increase once again in the afternoon, as another weak storm heads our way, brining
a chance of light snow on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Monday we will then have a chance of a snow
shower, followed by another storm for Tuesday.
The storm on Tuesday could be stronger, with a chance of a more
significant accumulation of snow, but this storm is still a long way out, so we
will just have to wait and see. Check back
for updates and be careful if driving today.
