A weak storm system will approach our area early tomorrow
morning, bringing a chance of a little light snow that could accumulate to a
dusting in some places. Then the warm-up
and snowmelt will begin, with temperatures reaching the low 50’s by next
weekend. In fact, I would not be
surprised if some places in Northern New Jersey approach 60 degrees by the end
of next weekend. The next storm to
approach our area will be on Thursday night, and this storm will bring us some
rain from Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. Then a strong cold front will approach our
area, bringing some showers on Sunday morning. The cold air will finally start moving back
into our area next Monday at the same time that another storm system
approaches. It will then be a race between
the cold air and the storm as to whether this storm produces rain or snow in
our area. It may then get quite cold
behind this storm with more storm chances after this storm passes.
