Today through Monday morning will be quite warm, after the
fog burns off, with highs reaching the low to mid 50’s today, and the mid to
upper 50’s tomorrow and early Monday morning.
On Monday morning, a cold front will move through our area bringing
showers and dropping the temperatures to levels that are more seasonal by
Monday evening. Early on Tuesday morning
there is a chance that the showers could change to light snow before ending
early in the morning. The light snow
could accumulate to a dusting to an inch in some locations. There will then be a chance of another storm
approaching our area for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. If this storm does indeed develop, it would
mean snow for us on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but at this moment in
time, there seems to be a low probability of this storm affecting our area, but
I will keep a close eye on it. The next
chance of a storm would be on Saturday as a storm may develop in the southeast
and head in our general direction. It is
still uncertain as to whether this storm will develop at all, and if it does,
whether it would affect our area. Then even
further out, I added day 11 to the forecast today because I have been watching
the possibility of a significant storm developing on that day for quite some
time. Of course, that is a long way out
and is still very questionable, but I felt it was worth adding to the forecast,
just in case.
