The temperatures did not get anywhere near as warm yesterday
as they could have if the sun would have come out, and the same will hold true
today. We can easily get well into the
50’s today if the sun comes out, but if it does not, temperatures will have a
hard time reaching 50. Tomorrow a cold
front will pass through our area, brining a chance of a shower in the morning,
with cooler temperatures filtering into our area through the day. A weak storm system will then develop along
this front and head in our direction for Monday night, bringing more showers that
could end as some light snow or flurries before ending early in the morning on
Tuesday. On Tuesday night, another weak
storm system will form along the front and bring us a chance of a little light
snow or flurries early in the morning on Wednesday, although no accumulation is
expected. Thursday through Sunday should
then be nice, with the coldest day being Friday when the lows may get into the
upper teens to low 20’s, and the warmest day will be Sunday, with highs
possibly getting into the low 50’s as warm air streams ahead of the next cold
front. The cold front that moves through
our area next Monday night may be quite strong and could bring very cold air
into our area, along with a major pattern change to colder weather for some
time. In addition, there is a possibility
of a storm forming near our area as the front approaches the coast on
Tuesday. If that were to occur, it would
bring some snow for next Tuesday with very cold temperatures as well. We shall see.
