We will continue to see some nice weather through the
weekend, with only a slight chance of a shower on Sunday. It will also get quite warm this weekend with
highs reaching the 50’s to near 60 on Sunday.
Monday we will have some showers in the morning as a cold front passes
through our area, dropping temperatures back to levels that are more seasonal. On Tuesday, we will have rain or snow, or
rain starting as snow, as a storm system rides along the cold front that will
have stalled just to our south. Right now,
the models are indicating that we are sitting right on the dividing line
between rain and snow for this storm.
The best guess right now would be snow starting early in the morning on
Tuesday, then changing to rain, but it is a really close call, so check back
for updates. Things will then clear out
with seasonal temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday. A strong cold front is then likely to pass through
our area on Friday, bringing us below normal temperatures for next Friday and
Saturday. Next Saturday there is a
chance of a storm developing in the Southeastern United States and riding up
the coast. If this storm does indeed
develop it would bring us snow for late in the day on Saturday and Sunday, but
it is still a long way out and this storm may or may not develop, there is no
guarantee it would affect our area.
