We will continue to experience very cold temperatures
through Monday, with some light snow likely tomorrow evening beginning around 4
or 5pm and ending around 10 or 11pm, with a dusting to an inch or two of accumulation
likely. It had looked earlier in the
week as if this could be a big snowstorm, but the two pieces are not going to
come together to make this a big storm.
This weekend should be nice but cold, and then on Monday a weak storm
system will approach our area, likely bringing more light snow. After this storm passes on Monday
temperatures will start to warm, rising to the low to mid 50’s on Wednesday
with some rain showers ahead of the next cold front that will come through on
Thursday. A strong storm system may
develop along this front on Thursday, bringing the chance of rain and cooling temperatures
off, with the rain possibly changing to snow before ending on Thursday
evening. It will then be cooler for next
weekend with the possibility of some snow showers next Saturday.
