European Model Update for Wednesday Night Storm
It still does NOT bring the Wednesday night storm far enough north to affect our area, so I will continue to hedge on the possibility. It is very strange to me how the European model continues to produce the storm further to the south and keep it south of us, while our American model continues to produce the storm right in our vicinity, and in fact continues to produce an even stronger storm on the ensemble mean as we get closer in time to the storm. Typically I would jump all over the European model being right, but having the majority of the members of the American model even stronger than than the operational run of the model and affecting our area with a very significant Nor'easter really raises some eyebrows. I don't know which is correct. I think this could go either way. Check back for updates. I will post in a few minutes about what it shows for the weekend potential.
