European Model Update

The European model is definitely showing a possibility of some mixed precipitation across northwest NJ on Tuesday night.  It is also indicating a chance of a storm developing off the southeast coast next Sunday.  It does keep this storm off shore but the pattern is very favorable for storms to form closer to the coast over the next two weeks, so possibly this is still the storm I have been talking about.  I was looking at the beginning of March with the target date being around March 2nd, so this still fits.  We will have to see.  The main National Weather Service forecast office continues to think that the pattern is very favorable for an East Coast storm over the next 2 weeks and they think the models just are not showing this yet.  We shall see.  The European model also shows the chance of a storm the middle of the following week.  Meanwhile temperatures will be unseasonably cold next week.
