This will be an extremely unsettled next 2 weeks of weather,
however, at the moment the models have us just missing out on the worst of
things, keeping us just warm enough that the storms for tomorrow night and
Tuesday night turn to rain after starting and then possibly ending as snow with
both storms. The there is still the possibility of a strong Nor’easter for next
Thursday into Friday, but right now that storm does not look like a huge threat
on any of the models either, so we will just have to wait and see how all of
this turns out. Anyway, there will be a
storm entering our area tomorrow, which could actually bring a bit of light
snow this afternoon, but the main show starts tomorrow. Tomorrow morning the precipitation should
start as light snow, changing to rain by late in the morning and continuing
through the night, prior to possibly changing back to a little snow at the
end. Then the next storm approaches on
Tuesday, probably briefly starting as snow on Tuesday afternoon, then quickly
changing to sleet, and then to rain by Tuesday night and continuing through the
night, before again possibly changing back to a little snow before ending on
Wednesday morning. The next storm
approaches on Thursday and this storm could again be rain or snow depending on
how it develops, and this storm should sit and spin in our area through next
Monday, bringing a chance of snow on Friday, and snow showers for Saturday,
Sunday, and Monday. Tuesday may be our
break before another storm possibly enters our area for next Wednesday and
Thursday. Check back for updates.
