The models agree now on the fact that we will have a
significant storm here from Friday night into Sunday morning. We do
however remain very much on the borderline between rain and snow with this
storm. The American model produces up to a foot of snow throughout much
of Northern New Jersey, while the European model gives us about 2 inches of
snow on Friday night, then some rain during the day on Saturday, prior to
turning back to snow on Saturday night, with some additional accumulation possible by Sunday morning.
The other models also show us very much on the border line between rain and
snow, so we need to keep a close eye on this storm. Further updates about
the other storms further down the line after the European model finishes its
run.
