Today will be a nice day, then it is all downhill starting
late tomorrow afternoon as a strong storm system will approach our area,
bringing rain, sleet and snow, changing to rain tomorrow night, except possibly
remaining sleet, freezing rain, or snow in northern Sussex and northern Passaic
counties until the early morning hours on Wednesday, then ending in the morning
on Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon we
will have a chance of a rain shower, then we will have a chance of snow showers
on Wednesday night and Thursday as the storm system will be slow to exit our
area. Then, honestly the entire forecast
is questionable after that, with the only thing I am fairly certain of is that
we will have unseasonably cold weather through the next two weeks, after this
Wednesday, and that we are in a weather pattern that is VERY favorable for Nor’easters
to develop, although none of the models has one for us yet. The models do clearly indicate two possible
time frames being around Sunday/Monday and again around Tuesday/Wednesday but
we will just have to keep a close eye on these potentials for now and leave it
at that. Check back for updates.
