American Model Update

The latest run of the American model that just came in has a significant snow and wind storm here on Wednesday into Thursday with about 4-8 inches of accumulation.  The snow would start around 4 or 5am on Wednesday morning and end in the afternoon or evening on Thursday, although the heaviest precipitation would end by early morning on Thursday.  The snow may have difficulty accumulating during the day on Wednesday as temperatures are expected to get well above freezing, but prior to sunrise on Wednesday morning it is possible we could already have a dusting to an inch or two of snow, then as the sun starts to set on Wednesday evening the snow will again start to accumulate, and will continue to accumulate through the night.  This is of course, if the American model is right, but I am definitely starting to think that it may very well be correct.  The American model tends to do much better with the northern stream dominated storms, and this storm is nearly all northern stream dominated.
