OK, I Can't Hold Back Anymore

I was listening to Craig Allen on CBS radio tonight on the way home from work say that the hills Northwest of New York City could get up to 6 inches of snow tomorrow night and now I am watching Lonnie Quinn on CBS TV show a map with Bergen County getting 6-12 inches of snow.  Listen, I am doing this as a hobby.  They get paid to produce those forecasts.  My forecast is for about an inch of snow tomorrow night, maybe 2 inches in the colder locations if the stars line up correctly.  This should not be a big deal tomorrow night, and during the day tomorrow it will be too warm to accumulate for the most part.  Now, on Thursday night we might get 2-4 inches of snow, but of course they have no mention of that at all.  And this is a forecast for the biggest city in the country, with about 20 million people depending on forecasts like these.  I just do this as a hobby.  I will certainly let you know immediately if I feel I need to change my forecast, but for now, that is how I see it.  And if I am correct, I hope you will all tell your friends about my blog.

The reason we won't get more snow here is that it will stay mostly to our south and then east, keeping us on the very edge of the storm, then the storm will get pulled back toward us on Thursday night, giving us the chance for 2-4 inches on Thursday night into Friday morning.
