Snow will end by around 1:00-2:00

The snow is starting to break down from the west, as was indicated by the models and it should end in all areas of Northern New Jersey by around 1:00-2:00.

  2. Yes, really was a crazy storm. Got exactly 5 inches here at my location in western New Jersey. It has finally ended here, just flurries now. How much did you get there?

  3. Not sure yet. We were out for a fire drill (alarm went off) and it has to be 8-10 inches and its still coming down!!!

  4. Mike,

Yes, Western Bergen County and vicinity got caught right underneath the band of heaviest snow for this storm, and it just did not budge. Really is amazing. I will be doing a post-storm reflection here shortly. It has at least ended at my location and it will end there soon.

  5. Looking forward to the post-storm reflection. Funny how mother nature throws a wrench into all of the forecasts because nobody got this one right.....Well except for Al Roker and his RPM model!!!

  7. Mike,

Al Roker and his RPM model predicted that for Wednesday night when we got NOTHING at all. NOT for this morning! He had forecast NOTHING for this morning at that point when I was saying 2-4 inches for us.

  9. Jim,

You do realize that Lonnie Quinn was predicting 6-12 inches for Wednesday night when I was forecasting an inch right? And he was forecasting nothing for last night when I was forecasting 2-4 inches. I think you are just trying to get me going though. I am talking about our forecasts from Tuesday night. That is where both of us were at that point.
