It is looking as if the worst of the storm will miss us
to the south and east, bringing us just a chance of some wet snow during the
day tomorrow, starting around noon, but it will have some difficulty accumulating
during the day. Then as the sun starts
to go down, the snow will start to accumulate, but only to about an inch or two
overnight on Wednesday night, ending on Thursday morning. There may then be some sprinkles or flurries
during the day on Thursday, then more snow may develop during the day on Friday
from this storm. It will be colder
during the day on Friday, so if it does snow, it should accumulate, but mainly
on grassy surfaces as the temperatures should again be above freezing. The accumulations on Friday could again be an
inch or two. After this storm passes we will have to again
watch for the possibility of a Nor’easter for the middle of next week. Right now that storm appears to be mainly a
rain storm, but there would be a possibility of some snow at night.
