Very Significant Snowstorm/Blizzard is a Very Real Possibility

The short-range American model just came in with more than a foot of snow for all of Northern New Jersey and New York City, and the medium-range American model just came in with 6-12 inches.  The Japanese model was already showing more than a foot for us.  Now we just have to see what the European, British, Canadian, and U.S. Navy models do later tonight and tomorrow morning.  As I said earlier today, the American model often does better with the storms developing from energy in the Northern jet stream and this storm is almost entirely derived from the northern jet stream. The Japanese model was the first to latch onto this possibility yesterday after the models backed off days ago and the Japanese model was the first to latch back onto a significant snowstorm that we had earlier this year, and sometimes does quite well with being the first model to see these big storms.  We shall see.  Check back for updates.
