Monday, September 30th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

Things will be quite warm this week and the warmth should continue through the next 2 weeks as the pattern seems to have changed a bit.  The timing of the cold frontal passage this coming weekend remains very much in question as the day is now looking like Sunday, however a tropical system may now form in the Gulf of Mexico and hold the rain in our area from Sunday through the beginning of the following week, followed by possibly another tropical system approaching us from the Atlantic Ocean toward the end of next week.  Things are now looking active in the tropical areas, with the possibility of even another tropical system toward the end of the two week period.  So, a cold frontal passage on Sunday with showers and thunderstorms, followed by the possibility of two or three separate tropical system continuing to bring us the chances for some showers and thunderstorms for the rest of the two week period.
