Saturday, September 21st, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

It looks like more of the same over the next two weeks with the only problem looking to be tonight as heavy showers and thunderstorms will move into our area ahead of a cold front.  These thunderstorms are likely to be quite strong with heavy rain.  They should be over by tomorrow morning and then we should see nice weather through next Saturday as a storm system that had the potential to cause us problems next week remains over the Southeastern United States and then heads out to sea, as the piece of energy that was supposed to drop down out of Canada and merge with it will fail to do so.  The next chance of rain will then be next weekend as another cold front approaches.  Also, the models have moderated the temperatures toward the end of the period, so it really looks like a repeat performance of this week again for the next two weeks.  There are currently no signs of significant tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, or Atlantic Ocean.
