Sunday, September 29th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

We will see some very nice and very warm weather through Saturday, with just a very slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Tuesday and a chance of a shower or thunderstorm on Friday and Saturday.  Temperatures will start to warm dramatically on Tuesday with highs in the mid to upper 70’s, rising to the mid 80’s for Wednesday through Saturday.  It will also get increasingly humid from Wednesday through Saturday, in fact uncomfortably so by the end of the week with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, so it will feel even warmer than the mid 80’s.  On Sunday a strong cold front will be approaching and an area of low pressure will form ahead of this front over the Southeastern United States and move in our direction, bringing some heavy rain to our area for next Sunday.  As the front moves through in the late morning temperatures will then drop quite dramatically and the rain will continue into Sunday night.  Things should then clear out and cool down for the following week.
