Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

We will see some warm weather today with highs in the mid 80’s, followed by hot weather tomorrow as highs will approach 90 degrees, then it will cool down quite a bit this weekend as lows will approach 40 degrees on Sunday morning.  Temperatures should then remain cool through next week.  The best chances for showers and thunderstorms will be on from late Thursday morning through Thursday night and again on Monday.  There are two possibilities for tropical development over the next 10 days, one is a few days from now as there is a small chance for a tropical system to develop in the Western Gulf of Mexico that would threaten Northern Mexico or Southwest Texas if it were to develop, then again this coming weekend as there is a small chance for a tropical disturbance or Tropical storm to develop off the coast of the Carolinas that would threaten those coastal areas.  We shall see.
