Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 - Morning Weather Discussion

We will see some very nice but cool weather today and tomorrow, and then it will warm up for Thursday through Saturday, with temperatures approaching 80 degrees on Friday.  Saturday a cold front will approach bringing with it some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, which may linger into Monday morning and be heavy at times.  Next week should then be beautiful, with mild temperatures on Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures may then cool down quite a bit for Wednesday through the following Monday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms toward the end of the two week period as another cold front approaches.  As far as tropical development goes, there will be a system in the Gulf of Mexico that may develop a bit as we head toward the weekend.  This system should then get caught up ahead of the cold fronts and get pushed across southern Florida this weekend or early next week and then head safely out to sea.
