Well, we have a lot to talk about but I will try to keep
this as simple as possible. We will have
a chance of a shower tonight as a cold front approaches our area. Then it will be nice through Tuesday, but
quite cool tomorrow. Wednesday a Nor’easter
is likely to develop, possibly bringing some light rain into our area for
Wednesday. This Nor’easter will likely intensify
quite a bit as it heads up into Canada.
This will cause the cold air in Canada to be pushed southward into our
area, leaving us with a slight chance of a rain or snow shower each day from
Thursday through Saturday as the cold air blows across the much warmer Great
Lakes, creating Lake Effect snow showers that have a chance of making it into
our area. Then on Sunday (yes, this is
the infamous October 27th again), a storm system is likely to
approach our area and could cause another Nor’easter to form. It is still too early to tell exactly where
this storm will form. If it develops to
our north and west it will cause warmer air to be pushed into our area from the
south ahead of the storm, bringing us a chance for rain next Sunday. If it forms to our south and east it would
allow the cold air to stay in place and could then even drag colder air down
from Canada, giving our area a chance of seeing some snow next Sunday. It all depends upon how and where this storm
develops, if it develops at all. We may
have a very similar scenario setting up for Tuesday, October 29th
as well. Check back for updates.
