I have seen all of the latest information and nothing
changes my mind from what I have been saying all week. There remains a good chance of a very
significant Nor'easter here on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The track and intensity of the storm will
determine exactly what type of precipitation we receive. All signs currently point to this storm
taking a nearly perfect track for a snowstorm here in Northern New Jersey. However, the ocean temperatures are still
quite warm and this could allow for some warm air to move in with the
storm. If however the storm strengthens
enough it would be able to pull cold air down from the north. So, we just need to wait and see what
happens. After this storm passes it will
get quite cold for Thanksgiving and Black Friday with highs only around 30 and
lows in the mid to upper teens. I am
also still watching for the possibility of another Nor'easter for Wednesday,
December 4th that could be much like this one. Check back tomorrow morning for more
updates.
