We have entered an extremely active weather pattern. First, it will be cold today and tomorrow
with highs in the mid 30’s today, then we will have lows tomorrow morning in
the mid to upper 20’s, followed by highs tomorrow in the low 30’s. Then on Saturday night we will have a slight
chance of some light snow and that chance will linger into Sunday morning. Then a Nor'easter will start to form off the
Southeast Coast and it will then more Northeast, likely staying well off shore,
but still bringing us the chance of some light snow on Monday night and
Tuesday. Then we will have nice days on
Wednesday and Thursday, although the clouds will increase in the afternoon on
Thursday, leading to rain on Friday and Saturday as a weak storm moves into our
area from the west. Then it will clear out
for next Sunday and Monday. Then a storm
is likely to start forming in the Southeast and move northeast, likely forming
into a significant Nor'easter for the middle of the following week, focused
around Wednesday, December 11th.
I have been seeing an unusually strong signal for this storm for many
days already, so we will likely need to keep a close eye on this one.
